4-Day Gorilla and Tree climbing Lions. ------- Price: $1,725 pp (USD)

4 Days Gorilla tracking Bwindi and Ishasha tree lions tour gives you a much more time to look for the tree climbing lions in the Ishasha plains of Queen Elizabeth national park. Remember, though the attention might be more on the tree climbing lions, but the game drive done in the game park gives you more chances of spotting other wildlife, that is to say; Hippos, Buffaloes, Elephants, Baboons, Uganda Kobs, Topis and many more other wildlife animals. On your arrival Day at the Airport, you will be met and warmly welcomed by our trained guide / driver from our company (Nanya Tours and Travel Ltd) and then be taken to an already booked Hotel. Depending on your arrival flight time, you may wish to rest for a day after your long flight, or start off with your 4 days gorillas and tree climbing lions' trip the next morning.


Itinerary

Day 1: Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park.
After the morning breakfast at the hotel, you will meet by our driver / guide at exactly 7:00 am in the morning for a brief highlights of the 4 days gorillas and lions itinerary, then after the briefing set off to Bwindi through the Ugandan Equator in Kayabwe, driver further through Masaka to Mbarara town for your lunch at the Agip Motel.

After having lunch, then continue with your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park. Depending on the Gorilla group you are tracking the following day, you either continue further through Kabale town or kisoro town or through the common route of Ishasha where the driver takes you through the flat Savannah grassland vegetation with 100s of chances of spotting different wildlife especially the Buffaloes, African Elephants, Baboons, Water bucks, tree climbing lions, topis and many more of such a kind.

Continue through Kihihi town to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you check into your safari lodge.
Overnight: Buhoma Community Rest Camp

Day 2: Gorilla tracking activity.
You will wake up early in the morning to have your hot coffee / tea in the dining area, our driver will be meeting with you as you take your breakfast to take away your Passports for registration. Mean-while you will get your packed lunch to eat in the jungle while doing the Gorilla tracking activities.

The driver will return your passports later, then go for briefing at the starting point, where you will start your days Gorilla Tracking activities. Not forgetting that you are tracking wild animals and the tracking is un-predictable that you might see the Gorillas shortly into tracking or it may take the entire day to sight on them.

Return later, check into your lodge, refresh and have your dinner.
Overnight: Buhoma Community Rest Camp.

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to the Ishasha Plains.
After our early morning breakfast in the misty Bwindi forest Park , check out and drive south of Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of the tree climbing lions when the sun comes out for the lions to climb on the trees.

We may start our search from the Congo-Uganda-Ishasha boarder post to make sure we look through all the fig trees where they normally rest, drive further to the Northern section of the Ishasha Park and also try the south section of Ishasha Park.

Drive later to your lodge for lunch, then go for an afternoon drive to the Ntungwe River for the Hippos in the pool, check out and drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Ntungwe River Camp.

Day 4: Morning game drive in Ishasha - Queen Elizabeth National Park.
We shall have our breakfast as usual, then continue to the game trails for yet another chance of spotting some of the wildlife, check out and drive back to kampala/Airport for your evening flight.

End of Safari

In case the mentioned lodges are not available during the requested period, we will do our best to book a lodge in the same class for you (of course we will only do this after consulting you).

Since nature dictates, doesn’t 100% guarantee you seeing the Gorillas although chances of seeing them are about 98%.
